Crime and Punishment 《罪與罰》

Written by Russian author Fyodor Dostoyevsky (1821-1881), Crime and Punishment was first serialised in a literary journal in 1866 and later published in book form. It is acclaimed as one of the most influential Russian novels of all times.

The story tells of Rodion Raskolnikov, an intelligent and well-built young student who lives in poverty and is exploited by an old, dishonest pawnbroker woman. Believing society would be better for it, he murders the pawnbroker, and accidentally kills her innocent sister as well. He flees and rationalises his crime, but eventually confesses his sins due to his awaking conscience.

Precisely describing the psychological and moral struggles of Rasholnikov, this novel also reveals the social inequalities in Russia in the 19th century.

CMYK 印刷四色

CMYK is the abbreviation of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Key (usually black), which is the colour model commonly used in printing. CMYK is widely adopted in our daily lives, from inkjet and laser printers at home or office, to large-scale offset commercial printers.

Through CMYK printing, very tiny dots of each primary colour are printed using the halftone technique. Different sizes, spacings and mixes of dots result in variations in colours and their saturations.

Success!
